Your birdbrained buddies at Wayward Raven Media will be appearing at East Coast Comicon in the Meadowlands this weekend. You can find us at table 735. We'll have all kinds of goodies for you to check out.
Geek Cast Live Wins Indiana Comic Con 2015
So this past weekend was Indiana Comic Con 2015, and we decided to challenge our buddies at Geek Cast Live to our first ever, Con Challenge. The trio were crushing it this weekend! Check out some of these tweets from the show!
The Breakdown
Challenge: Give a Storm Trooper a Hug - Winner Rob Bass
While all three contestants entered into this, Robb is the clear winner for his proper use of duck face.
Challenge: Offer your armies and support to Daenerys Targaryen for marriage - Winner Rob Bass
I was honestly expecting someone to get their head lobbed off for this one, but Robb managed to sway the savage heart of our beloved Khaleesi.
Challange: Ask Darth Vader "How's the wife?" - Winner Ry
Ry showed a lot of class consoling Lord Vader in his time of woe. You're a mensch Ry, a mensch.
Bonus Challenge: Share an Orphan Joke with Batman - Winner Rob Bass
I guess Batman has been hanging out with the Joker a bit too much lately. He actually smiled!
The Winner
Based on the rules of the contest, Robb Bass is the clear winner. Proposing to Daenerys put him on the map, but it was the bonus Orphan Joke with Batman that made him a winner. Not to be outdone, Ry was a contender, outmatching Robb's challenges with shear volume (See below) of random cosplay photos.
Technically speaking, Ry should have been disqualified, since he clearly had a chance to pull off the epic bonus challenge, Call Jason Mamoa "Sea Man" or "Aqualad" and failed to do so. While we will not suffer a coward, this is a pretty bitchin' photo op, so we'll let it slide.
But wait, there's more!
In case you were wondering, @assholesatcons is our new twitter account, specifically for these con challenges. Whenever there's a convention happening, we're going to be tweeting con challenges through this account. Tag @assholesatcons with your photos or videos of whatever shenanigans you get up to, and you can win prizes.
While none of the following images counted towards our con challenge, I'd like to include them to show you what kind of fun we have at conventions and shows. We welcome everyone to start sending us your con photos and show us how much fun you're having, being an asshole at a con!
Con Challenge #1 - Indiana Comic Con 2015
So this weekend will be the World Famous Indiana Comic Con 2015. Unfortunately, we will not be able to make it. However, our good friends, Geek Cast Live, will be attending the show. To that end, we've decided to do something special. This will mark the first ever, Assholes at Conventions Challenge (trademark pending).
Ry, Rob, Joe & Nic, we're calling you out. And hell, anyone else who is going to Indiana Comic Con. You folks can play too. Just check out the sweet prizes below!

How do I win?
Mark and I will be the judge of these challenges. We are fully willing to accept bribes (yes, we are corrupt judges). This challenge is being made to the Geek Cast Live crew, but it is also open to anyone else attending the con. If any other attendee attempts or completes these challenges and gets a higher score than the Geek Cast Live crew, they get the prize.
There can only be one winner! Er, well, three...there can only be three winners!!!

All done, Winter Con 2014. Hello 2015
Hello, we are all done with the convention scene this year, Winter Con 2014 in Queens was the last, and we're excited to get planning for 2015. We have not made up the whole list yet but we plan on going to at least two new cons in 2015. We will, of course, be at NYCC and Boston Comic Con. It was an up and down year but we got new books out: Signed #2, Horsemen #2, Percy, and the Damn Heroes strip book. All of which you can see here-> http://waywardraven.storenvy.com/
Up for next year, we will introduce the new series The Committee by James Emmett. Very excited for this. Also, we will have new issue of The Ascendant, Horsemen, and Signed, along with a one-shot called Balloon World but hopefully much more. As for our adventures in children's books, one titled Morty is being illustrated by Alex, but we hope to include two more books and we are open to illustrator/author submissions as well.
Also, if there are any conventions you'd like us to attend on the east coast, please feel free to mention them to us via Twitter @waywardraven or comment below.
This isn't our last post of the year by any means but we do want to wish everyone a Happy Holiday Season!
Now for what you want, photos of Winter Con 2014 and cosplay.
Okay, that last one is from NYCC but it deserves to be posted again.
