Missed us at NYCC?

So you missed us at NYCC, huh? Either the sheer overwhelming chaos, great panels, killer cosplay and all the shiny stuff distracted you or you weren't able to make it this year. That's okay, we won't hold it against you (heck, it was tough enough to keep Mark in one place and Alex couldn't wait to spend his hard earned cash). Don't fret, we have a solution! Signed Cover

Whether you missed the launch of the new Signed series, wanted to pick up one of our other books or just grab some fresh gear, it isn't too late. All of our products are now online and can easily be found on our new shop page. No longer will you be forced to wait to see us at our next appearence (unless of course you're in to that kind of thing. We hope you are, we like seeing you folks). Through the beauty of the Internet, we'll now send stuff right to your door (waaaaay better than QVC or a letter from some guy in Nigeria with winning lotto numbers). We'll even make our guys sign your shiny new stuff.

If you did miss out on the fun, we've got plenty of pictures in our photos page too. See yourself there? Let us know and we'll make Alex link it to your site. Looking forward to seeing all of you guys at the next one. Thanks for your support!

NYCC 2013 Recap

NYCC 2013 was a blast! First off, we would like to thank the fans who turned out to support us. It was awesome to see old friends and also meet new ones. A year of creating and planning led to a fantastic show for this flock of headstrong birds and although there were some hiccups along the way, everything turned out great.  We are hoping to continue to bring all of you great work for years to come. Secondly, thank you to all the wonderful artists who stopped by to share their work with us. We were really impressed by everything we saw and look forward to the opportunity to work with many of you in the future. If you didn't get to share your work with us, but would still like to do so, check out the Submissions section of our site.

We would also like to take a moment and send a special thanks to Sara Chiarilli who came all the way from Tampa to help us man  the booth. In addition to helping put our content into your hands, Sara was responsible for the set up, look and feel of our space. We can't possibly say enough about the fantastic job she did with it! We would not have been nearly as successful without her assistance. Thanks Sara!

Lastly, like any good con, there were tons of stunning costumes on display. We have set up a page dedicated to all the pictures we took over the course of the event, please feel free to peruse it at your leisure.

Thanks again to everyone who turned out and spent some time with us at NYCC. Hope to see you all again soon at another event!

Sneak Peek and Exciting #Comicbook News About Horsemen

Work on issue two of Horsemen is underway! In our travels to cons, we are always talking to new folks and looking for talent for many of our upcoming projects. Artists if you are looking for work, come see us with your portfolio at NYCC on Friday (3-5) and Sunday (2-4). Recently at Boston Comic Con we came across a very talented young man who stopped by to share his portfolio with us. We really liked his work and thought he would be a great fit for Horsemen. Meet James Beihl, who will be penciling/inking Horsemen and taking that series to the next level! James is a graduate of the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, one of the country's finest institutions for art and design. His influences include McFarlane, Frazetta and Kubert. You can see some of his work on his deviantart page where he has pages from his upcoming creator owned series and other work that he has done. You can also follow him on twitter @jbcomics.

Here's a sneak peek at some of his upcoming work:

Welcome aboard James! We are look forward to seeing some more of your great work on Horsemen issue #2!

Advanced look at Signed's cover #comicbooks

Yup, that image was of me being attack by a Tusken Raider, but now to the business at hand. Well, Signed is off to the printers and will be making it's way out into the world soon. We will have the first issue available through our online store and hopefully at a few comic shops. If you are going to NYCC in October, you can swing by our booth in the small press section on the show floor and have a look. As Mark says, "We don't charge for fingerprints."

Without further interruption, here is the cover to our new series with a story arc involving the character C. She's a sorceress and a talent agent.

And a bonus look at the yet to be completed cover for Issue 2, which will be off to the printer in a couple weeks.

BTW, we have bonus art in the book like a sexy pinup, but for that you will just have to pick up a copy and look inside.

Feel free to purchase copies of Horsemen and The Ascendant through the online store or through the retail links and bring them to NYCC to be signed while you come to pick up Signed.

Ars longa, vitae brevis.

Cool Video of the Creators at Boston Comic Con 2013

Just got this today and wanted to post it for everyone to see. Really cool video with a lot of the creators who came to Boston Comic Con with us this year. I noticed Mike Mignola, some of the folks from Station like Chris Uminga and Matt Fletcher, and lots of other creators from the majors and indy presses. We are right around the 27:30 mark! Some great cosplay shots as well. If you watch to the end you will be treated to an array of impressive masks on display. Enjoy! -Mark
