Fanboy Comics Reviews Signed!

Fanboy Comics was nice enough to give Signed C: the missing a read and take some time to review it. What they came back with was a really nice write up about our book and a desire for more Signed! Some quotes:

With its first issue out, writers Frankel and Jones have set up an interesting scenario.

Artist Wayne Brown’s pencils and inks (aided by Silva’s coloring) give a nice, sensual feel to the layouts and characters.

A good beginning that will only lead to a deeper threat, Frankel and Jones promise a mystery that will reveal “a plot that could undo the very order of the cosmos.” Set against this backdrop, Signed C could be an interesting story to keep an eye on.

As of writing, there are a mere 49 hours left to get issue 2 (and issue 1 if you so desire) before everyone else through our Kickstarter. Lots of other cool goodies like artwork by Wayne Brown and Matthew Fletcher, an opportunity to be cast as a hero or villain in Damn Heroes, and even our whole comic book library! Stretch Goal Number One Hit!

We just hit stretch goal number one! That means everyone who pledged $20 or more to our Signed C: Kickstarter gets a signed and numbered Damn Heroes comic strip to go along with all the other great stuff they will receive from us. Examples of some of the possible strips are shown below. With just three days left, let's keep the party going! We are going to unveil the next reward if we hit $2800! That's only $192 away! This one is going to go out to everyone who pledged at least $7 (hint: it is a dark and ominous thing).

We will also unveil more rewards at $3000. If we hit the $3500 mark, we will have a raffle that will include a one of a kind piece of artwork from Horsemen! Heck, we might even be persuaded to offer something else at the $3200 and $3400 mark.

Also, don't forget that referring friends brings even more rewards! Just see update 11.

We Hit Our Kickstarter Goal!!!

In case you missed it, over the weekend we hit our Kickstarter goal for Signed! It is a tremendous feeling to be able to make that announcement. A lot of hard work has gone into this campaign and we want to take the time to acknowledge all who have helped us cross the finish line.

Every one of you made this happen, from your shares, likes, and retweets to the articles you wrote and the podcasts you've invited us on. We cannot thank you enough for all the support, so we hope this simple message of appreciation will properly convey our gratitude.

We would be remiss if we didn't note that there are still four days left before the campaign closes. That means we have three more days to dispense more rewards! As milestones are hit, we will continue to roll out additional rewards and display them here. The first stretch goal will be met when we hit the $2600 mark (a mere $75 away). As a small taste of what might come at that point, just check out some examples of the artwork below from our webcomic Damn Heroes. Super limited, numbered and signed art is but a few dollars away! Ain't We Bleeding Cool?!?

In case you missed it, we got some great press from Bleeding Cool this past weekend. If you didn't see the article though, we are not offended. Heck, its tough to compete with Free Comic Book Day (hopefully you DID get your free comic book from us though). With that in mind, we wanted to pop something up here so you could take a peek. As of the time of writing, we are only $473 dollars away from goal with 16 days to go. We are all pretty hopeful that it will be successful and humbled by all the folks who have pitched in.
