Riding in style to Plastic City Comic Con 2023

Ok, enough silliness! What’s this about a city made of plastic?!?

Plastic City Comic Con isn’t a city made of plastic. It’s a comic book convention! Which isn’t made of plastic either, now that we think about it…hey, I bet that guy’s arm can really stretch. Like that other guy, made of plastic. What’s his name again..?

Ahem…

Sorry, we get distracted sometimes. The point here is that we will be at Plastic City Comic Con on Saturday, August 19th for one day only!!! Mostly, that’s because the show is only one day, but that’s really not the point here.

And the point is then?

The point here is that you can find us at booth 110 on the show floor from 10-5 on Saturday. We will have our brand, spanking new anthology, We Suck At Comics, Volume One, front and center. Naturally, we will have a ton of other comics and a bunch of Alex’s fresh artwork. And what would a show be without Mark’s top secret beverage? Yeah, we’ll have plenty of that too!

Seriously, don’t poke that bear…

So fly on down to 100 Game On Way in Fitchburg, MA and tell us “bird’s the word!” We will make sure you don’t regret it. Or that you will. Either way, we promise you’ll have fun!

It would also be tremendous, stupendous, and even prodigious! So seriously, come hang out with us at TerrifiCon Mohegan Sun. You don’t have to drop a bundle at the tables, instead, pick one up at ours!

Great question! We will have our brand new anthology, We Suck at Comics, Volume One, available. In fact, we should still have some stickers and pins left from the campaign. You’ll have to get one quickly though, we don’t know how long the supplies will last!

We promise, only the title sucks. Everything else is awesome!

Submissions for We Suck At Comics: Volume 2 are now open!

Did you miss out on getting your work into We Suck At Comics: Volume 1? Well, no worries! Now you can submit your stuff for Volume Two!

Yay!!!!

Sweet! How does it work?

Simple. We are looking for completed stories that fit the theme Coloring Outside The Lines. We are accepting only finished works, but they can be comics, prose, or artwork.

As far as the theme itself, we are going to give you a fair amount of latitude here. Messy pages and broken panels are not a prerequisite (but don’t let that stop you either). In fact, we are looking to see how imaginative you can be with the theme! The most important thing is submitting quality materials.

This will be a paid gig!

So what do I do if I want to send my work in?

That’s easy too! Just head on over to our submissions page and fill out all the fields. Once we have your submission, we will get back to you promptly.

What kinds of materials can I send?

Another great question! We are looking for comics, prose (you know, comics without pictures - lol), and artwork. You can send us:

• Comics up to 25 pages

• Prose up to 2500 words

• Up to five pieces of single page/image artwork

Rock n Roll, Horror and Comics - We're Going to Catastrophicon!

Ever want to go to a comic convention in a castle? How about one that adds horror icons and rock ‘n’ roll? Well, that’s exactly what we will be doing on Saturday, July 15th: Catastrophicon!

Catastrophicon is a one day show in Purchase, NY on the Manhattanville campus. The event will be held in the castle on campus and have tons of horror and music icons like Ari Lehman who played the first Jason Voorhees.

We might not be that scary, but we will be bringing all kinds of goodies from artwork to comics. You’ll be able to get your copy of We Suck At Comics, volume one. Anyone who buys a copy will also get a cool pin and stickers to go with it!

Who you sayin’ sucks?!?!?

The doors open at 9:00 and the show floor is open until 5:00. Live music starts at 5:30 and goes until 8:00. Hope we see you there!
