Giveaway of #ebooks #promotion #freestuff

Hello all, Though giving things away is hard, sometimes we must give to get so here is a link to a website called Smashwords where titles from Wayward Raven- Joshua Jones are available until midnight. The link takes you to the page for The Excess Road, a coming -of-age novel, but on the left hand side are the links to the pages where you can also get short stories gratis. You don't even need to create an account unless you're trying to get Blue Lips and crayons.  The sign up is easy though but otherwise download the others (besides The Cell) instantly.

Winners and upcoming titles.

Congratulations to Ellie and Jon for answering the contest question correctly. For those who didn't, the answer was Judge Judy Dreadful. The e-book version of The Cell has been sent to the winners. There was more interest than we surmised, so from now on, we are going to have five winners instead of two. This starts next Wednesday (at noon) so check in for a chance to win the paranormal novel. Just wanted to inform everyone about what is coming down the pipeline. Within the next couple weeks, Ominous Odes, a short story collection by Mark C. Frankel, will be coming out followed by The Ascendant #2. Then an untitled activity/novelty book will be released followed by the children's picture books Percy (about a sirrush) and Morty's Magical Night (about a boy, his grandpa's Jazz band, and magic).  Horsemen #2 is also in progress.

Another novel might be published within the year but we are focused on graphical work at the moment.

If you have any questions about us or anything on the site, please use the contact form and we will get back to you as soon as possible if it is a legitimate query. Hell, we might even get back about illegitimate queries too if clever but dummies and trolls are not tolerated.

Convention Schedule

Hey there true believers. Now that we've gotten our new site up and running, we're looking to update our convention schedule. On the top nav, you should see at least one link to the most recent (that would be Boston Comic Con), up-and-coming convention, for your browsing convenience.

We also have a handy-dandy Events page where you can see every appearance, past, present and future.

Also, be sure to check out our Wayward Raven Facebook Page or follow Wayward Raven on Twitter, in case that works better for you.

We aim to please!

Giveaway. The Cell contest question.

So, here we go. The first question in The Cell e-book contest. Only two winners so make sure your answer is correct. Please provide the type of e-reader you have so to expedite the process. (a pdf can be emailed as well) This question will be about Damn Heroes. If you haven't read it, go to Damn Heroes right now on the main page that has it and go to the webcomic. This is from an early strip.

Question: What is the name of the judge who sentenced Sebastian?

Good luck and please use the contact form on the contact page. Send your answer to Josh.

Cheers!

Press Release

Aegis Creative Enterprises has become Wayward Raven Media after expanding its mission by venturing into children’s books, novelty books and a webcomic. To inaugurate the transition, a special offer has been announced. With the purchase of a print or digital copy of The Ascendant #1 or Horsemen #1, the other will be free as a digital comic. The Ascendant is a  fantasy-horror comic book that follows a Duke of Hell named Cail who developed a crisis of conscience after eons of unrepentant malevolence.  He escapes to the land of the living where demons he once set free wreak havoc and in an act of redemption sends them back with his dark blade.

Horsemen is a sci-fi/action comic where a team of cosmic guardians confront a nemesis bent on destroying freewill throughout the multi-verse. Plots are revealed throughout the galaxy and tragedy visits upon the Horsemen as they gallop across the stars  trying to prevent the ultimate catastrophe.

We are also pleased to announce that the comic books are now available for the Kindle through Amazon and that Wayward Raven Media will exhibiting at the Boston Comic-Con April, 20-21. They will be in Artist Alley offering signed books, artwork, and merchandise with a few surprises in store.
