Time to get Wicked in Boston! Wayward Raven Lands at Booth BD419

Boston Bound for a Wicked Good Time!

As I sit here drinking my most recent homemade potent potable, I’m reminiscing about all the great shows we’ve done in Boston, MA over the years. You folks up the the Massachusetts Bay Area have always been really good to us. It might have something to do with the complimentary gift we love to share with anyone who picks up more than fifteen bucks worth at our table (if you know, you know), but we’ll take it anyway. We love shipping up to Boston!

Join us at Artist Alley, Booth BD419!

Mark Frankel - Just a guy with beer on his mind

Just a guy with beer on his mind…

I think this is the third time we’ve done Wicked Con, so we’ve only missed one or two of them. Before that, we always loved doing the old school Boston Comic Con that used to be right across the street in the Seaport Convention Center. Ah, wonderful memories…

Hey, get back on track!

Sorry, I can’t help myself sometimes. We really do love visiting you folks. That said, I’m here to tell you all about this coming Wicked Comic Con 2026, not shows of the past (although feel free to reminisce with me if you stop by and see us).

In case you haven’t guessed, we will be at Wicked Comic Con this weekend! Yes, we know it is Memorial Day Weekend (perhaps that’s another reason I’m getting sentimental) and should be relaxing and grilling, but we can worry about that on Sunday. Or Monday. Whatever.

Mark C. Frankel contemplating his beer

I know I should be doing something with this bottle.

Geez, just tell us about the show already, would ya?

Fine, you don’t have to get testy. I’ll spill the beans. Wicked Comic Con is this Saturday, May 23 2026, at the Weston Boston Seaport District! But you have to hurry, because it is only one day and only from 10 AM to 5 PM. Plenty of time to see all the amazing artwork, talk to cool creators and stock up on some great indie comics, but we ain’t there all weekend, ya know! After that we are back to parts unknown. Or, well, known. Mostly Connecticut and Jersey really.

Did I mention it’s completely FREE to attend? Well, it is! Don’t believe me? Then check this out.

Oh yeah, I’m supposed to drink it. Bottoms up!

Where will you find the Wayward Raven Crew?

Hmm, good question! We’ll be at Booth BD419 in Artist Alley. You can’t miss us, all you have to do is walk right through the front door and our mugs will be looking right at you. Our faces, that is. Not our beer steins. That would be weird.

You guys ARE weird.

Point taken.

Now Mark C. Frankel tries to figure out how to smile

Speaking of mugs…woof.

Just tell us what you’ll have with you so we can leave already.

Tough crowd. Fair enough.

We’ve got a ton of Alex’s amazing artwork, graphic novels, two anthologies (both with stuff from some of the creators who will be at the con) and our finally released and long anticipated Damn Heroes Omnibus!

The Big Damn Heroes Book, Dammit

Finally, a picture that isn’t Mark.

And of course, we have those free goodies I mentioned earlier. And probably a bunch of other sweet freebies, like sticks and pins. Of course, you’ll have to stop by to find out.

To celebrate our favorite ongoing superhero satire webcomic, we're showing off a few panels of the mandated community service, tentacles, and creative blockages you'll find inside the

Damn Heroes comic strip panel showing an exhausted superhero in pajamas demanding coffee while giant red tentacles break through a portal in the wall. Superhero satire webcomic by Wayward Raven Media.

I can’t deal with multi-dimensional tentacle monsters before I’ve .had my coffee

Three-panel Damn Heroes webcomic strip featuring Sebastian and Stan the Night Watchman holding a mop. Satirical comic exploring mandated community service and existential dread.

Sebastian learning about the true existential misery of mandated mop duty from Stan the Night Watchman

Hope you’ll join us, but if you can’t you can get most stuff at our shop. Feel free to check it out.

See you at Wicked Comic Con!

For the love of all that is holy…just go away Mark!
